A lot of people think that spring is the time to put their homes on the market, but if you wait until spring, you will have missed it. The spring market is happening now.
There are five reasons why you absolutely need to list your home for sale right now:
1. We have very little inventory available, which means there is very little competition and lots of attention for your home.
2. People are relocating in the first quarter. If you want to catch those relocation buyers, you need to put your home on the market right now.
3. No landscaping? No problem. At this time of year, everybody’s home looks just like yours. You don’t have to keep up with the competition and their beautiful lawns. In the wintertime, their lawn looks just like yours, so it’s not a problem. It’s easy to maintain (or not maintain) a lawn when selling at this time of year.
4. You can sell your home faster and for more money. A lack of competition and strong demand gets you a higher sales price in a shorter amount of time.
5. There are a lot of multiple offers in our market right now. In my 31 years in real estate, I’ve never seen as many multiple offer situations as we’re seeing right now.
